Chelsea have stepped up their interest in versatile Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain after launching a £25m bid, reports The Daily Mail.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has entered the final 12 months of his existing Arsenal deal and has already been heavily linked with a summer move to Liverpool and Chelsea.
Arsene Wenger has no interest in losing the England international, who can play in almost any position from midfield to attack, but there has still been no new deal forthcoming for the Arsenal ace.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has demanded more signings ahead of the defence of their Premier League title and the Blues have now intensified their interest in Oxlade-Chamberlain as a result.
