West Brom manager Tony Pulls is already looking ahead to the summer transfer window and wants to sign Tottenham outcast Kevin Wimmer, reports The Daily Mail.
Wimmer, 24, joined Spurs from German side Cologne in May 2015 but has failed to make any significant impression on Mauricio Pochettino in that time.
Added to the fact he is competing for places with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld, who are arguably the best centre-backs in the Premier League, it’s easy to understand why the Austria international has struggled for game time.
As a result West Brom are looking to benefit from this by offering Wimmer regular first team football at the Hawthorns next season as Pulis looks to build on what has been a hugely impressive campaign for the club.
Wimmer has only started four matches in the Premier League this season and has only featured in 41 minutes of action since in almost three months.
