Manchester United target wants Ajax stay

Kasper Dolberg has revealed he is keen to stay at Ajax and learn from summer arrival Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

Manchester United and Roma have both been credited with an interest in the young Danish forward, who netted 16 goals and registered six assists in the Eredivisie last season.

Despite reports linking the teenager with a move to either England or Italy, however, the 19-year-old is eager to learn of Huntelaar, who has returned to the Dutch giants following his departure from Bundesliga side Schalke.

Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars last week insisted that Dolberg is not for sale, which has appeased the striker.

"That's fine if I am not for sale," he told Ajax TV via Goal.com. "I'm happy here, so there's no reason to leave.”

On Huntelaar’s return to Amsterdam, Dolberg added: "He's very experienced, so I hope I can learn something from him.

"During training I have watched how he moves. I think we will talk a lot.

"He is a very good striker, who has scored a lot, so I do not think I am the first striker. I will have to earn it."
