Arsenal are looking to reward Alexis Sanchez’s impressive form by making him the clubs highest-paid player, according to the Daily Mail.
Sanchez, 26, currently earns £130,000-a-week but is inline to overtake Mesut Ozil (£140,000-a-week) having proven to be the club’s best player since his arrival from Barcelona last summer.
The Chile international, who still has three years left to run on his current deal, had struggled for form during the early parts of the new season but is now on a run of six goals in his last three games in all competitions for Arsenal. In fact, Sanchez has been named man of the match in each of those appearances, too.
