Jurgen Klopp has no interest in ending his 12-month sabbatical and taking the vacant Marseille post, according to the ex-Borussia Dortmund manager’s agent.
Klopp stood down as Dortmund manager at the end of last season before announcing he would be taking time out of the game to recharge his batteries.
The 48-year-old has been linked with various posts this summer and Klopp’s agent confirmed Marseille’s interest, but insisted he has know interest in succeeding Marcelo Bielsa.
“Marseille have shown great interest in him, but, for Jurgen, the time has not yet come to return,” Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke is quoted as saying in Bild.
Bielsa stood down as Les Phoceens manager following defeat in their first game in the Ligue 1 season.
