Bacary Sagna is ready to leave Manchester City at the end of the season and join West Ham as the right back plots a return to London, claims The Sun.
The 34-year-old’s existing deal is due to expire at the end of the season and with Pep Guardiola keen to sign new full-backs in the summer it would seem a clear indication that Sagna’s time at City is coming to a close.
Sagna joined City on a free transfer in 2014 after seven years in London with Arsenal and the France international is now keen to return to the capital and join West Ham.
Slaven Bilic has endured huge problems at right back this season and is keen to finally establish a first-choice in that position of the pitch, where they are currently using central midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.
Since joining City only Nicolas Otamendi (178) has won more aerial duels in the Premier League than Sagna (163).
