Jurgen Klopp is not worried about any potential attitude problems with Philippe Coutinho and could put him back into his first-team plans this weekend, reports The Daily Mail.
Coutinho was reportedly left devastated after failing to secure a move to Barcelona in the summer and even went to the lengths of handing in a transfer request to try and force a move away from Liverpool.
The 25-year-old, who only signed a new long-term deal in January, has not featured for Liverpool this season but did make a return for Brazil during the international break and could now feature for Klopp’s side this weekend.
Coutinho is due to return to Melwood after Brazil’s World Cup qualifier against Colombia on Tuesday and Klopp will want his creator-en-chief available for Saturday’s trip to rivals Manchester City.
The Brazilian has a superb record against City and would provide Klopp’s side with a boost providing he turns up with the right attitude. In fact, Coutinho has scored more goals against City than any other opponent in his career (5).
