Arsenal forward linked with Juventus switch

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has emerged as a surprise target for Juventus in the summer, according to Tuttosport, via The Daily Mirror.

Juventus have already been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain frontman Edinson Cavani as they step up their search for a new striker in the summer.

However, Juventus are reportedly monitoring Giroud as a possible alternative, with a fee between £20m and £25m being mooted with the France international.

The 29-year-old is currently in a real slump in form. Despite having scored at least five more goals than any other Arsenal player in the Premier League this season (12), Giroud hasn’t found the back of the net in the league in his last nine appearances.
