Netherlands have announced they have appointed former Everton boss Ronald Koeman as their new manager on a four-and-a-half-year running until 2022
Koeman has been out of work since being sacked as Everton manager at the end of October but had been linked with a return to the Premier League.
The 54-year-old has instead opted to move into international management in a bid to resurrect his career following his failed stint at Goodison Park and his first game will be against England at the end of March.
Netherlands failed to qualify for the 2018 World Cup but Koeman will have the chance to lead his country to Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup.

The Dutch FA have been looking to appoint a new manager since Dick Advocaat stepped down at the end of November and Koeman is the fourth head coach they have selected since the 2014 World Cup.
Koeman has only won two of his last 13 matches as a manager, losing seven in that period.
