Real Madrid have made Chelsea winger Eden Hazard their number one summer target, according to French publication L’Equipe.
The Blues wideman has been in wonderful form for Chelsea in their pursuit of Premier League glory this season, with his WhoScored rating (7.92) better than any other player in England’s top tier this term.
He has also won more WhoScored man of the match awards (12) than any other player in Europe’s top five leagues this season, with Real Madrid understandably keen to add the Belgian to the squad.
Hazard has been heavily linked with a move to Madrid in recent months and while he has routinely batted away speculation over a switch to the La Liga leaders, Los Blancos are widely expected to make a move for the Belgium international once the transfer window opens.
The Blues are understandably keen to retain the services of the 26-year-old and it’s thought only a world record offer would tempt the west London side into selling.
