Manchester City are set to reward Fernandinho with a new deal following his bright start to the season, claims The Daily Mirror.
Fernandinho, 31, has been an integral player for Pep Guardiola during his early start to life in the Premier League.
Guardiola has claimed City would win the Premier League if they had three Fernandinho’s in the team and his glowing report seems to have manifested into a new deal for the Brazilian, who has entered the final 12 months of his existing deal.
Fernandinho has completed more passes for City in the league this season than any other player (394).
