Tottenham and Everton are competing with each other for the signature of Hull defender Harry Maguire, reports The Daily Mirror.
Maguire is expected to leave Hull and sign for a Premier League side in the summer after the Tigers were relegated back to the Championship at the first attempt.
The 24-year-old thoroughly impressed for Hull during the second half of the season and his performances have put him firmly on the radar of Tottenham and Everton, who are both looking at alternative options after appearing to miss out on Burnley star Michael Keane.
Despite Hull’s relegation, Everton and Tottenham are locked in a £22m battle for the England defender but it remains to be seen who Maguire would favour.
Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign an upgrade on Kevin Wimmer, who has failed to impress since joining from Cologne two years ago, but he would be guaranteed regular first-team football at Everton.
Maguire, who impressed with his ability to bring the ball out from the back, completed more dribbles than any other Hull player and any centre-back in the Premier League this season (29).
