Inter have emerged as frontrunners in the race to sign £56m rated Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports The Mail on Sunday.
Arsenal accept they have to sell their captain this summer and are willing to listen to offers for the Premier League goal machine.
A host of teams have been credited with an interest in the Gabon international, including Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.
However, Inter are now believed to be leading the chasing pack in their bid to bring in a new frontman this summer.
Current Inter star Lautaro Martinez has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona in the off season and the Nerazzurri are eyeing up possible replacements for the Argentine.
Antonio Conte's first choice pick is Aubameyang as the Italian looks to make yet another raid of the Premier League.
Since his appointment last summer, Inter have secured the services of Romelu Lukaku, Ashley Young and Christian Eriksen from Manchester United and Tottenham, respectively.
And with Barcelona prepared to spend big to sign Martinez, Aubameyang, who has 17 league goals to his name this season, could go the way of the aforementioned trio later this year.
