José Holebas has secured a move to Premier League new boys Watford, the club has confirmed.
Holebas established himself as AS Roma’s first choice left-back last season, gaining a WhoScored rating of 7.27 in the process, which was enough to secure a place in WhoScored's Serie A team of the season.
However, the Italian capital club have opted to cash in on the experienced Greek defender, who has signed a 3-year deal at Vicarage Road.
The 31-year-old has become the club’s fourth summer signing and second this week after Watford announced the permanent acquisition of Matej Vydra, who spent last season on loan with the Hornets.
Smashing signing for Watford. Why did Roma get rid!?
