Barcelona have put Arsenal on red alert after making Arda Turan available for £23m this summer, claims The Sun.
Turan, 29, has failed to make any impression since joining Barcelona this summer and was booed by his own fans during Turkey’s dismal Euro 2016 campaign.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder was only able to make his Barcelona debut at the start of 2016 when their transfer embargo was lifted and has struggled to find his place in the Barcelona team.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly pondering a move for Turan and sees the deal as a bargain considering Barcelona paid £35m just 12 months ago.
Turan played a direct hand in five goals (three goals, two assists) in 18 league games for Barcelona last season and finished the campaign with the best pass success rate (92.3%).
