Tottenham are interested in signing Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain this month but only on a loan deal, claims L’Equipe, via The Daily Mirror.
Moura is free to leave PSG this month but the Ligue 1 giants are struggling to find suitors willing to match their demands.
The 25-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United at the start of the window but Jose Mourinho’s side decided to pursue Arsenal wantaway Alexis Sanchez.
With United on the cusp of signing Sanchez, they no longer need a player of Moura’s calibre and that has paved the way for Tottenham's interest in the Brazilian.
However, Mauricio Pochettino’s side would only contemplate signing Moura on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
Napoli have also earmarked Moura as a potential transfer target this month but will only turn to the PSG outcast if they fail to sign Sassuolo attacker Matteo Politano.
In the last four Ligue 1 campaigns, Moura has completed more dribbles than any other player (264).
