Manchester United midfielder in talks for China move

Manchester United are in talks with an unnamed Chinese team for the sale of Marouane Fellaini, reports The Daily Mail.

The Belgium international has dropped completely out of favour under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is currently sidelined with a calf injury.

Fellaini was regarded as an important player under former manager Jose Mourinho but has barely featured under his successor.

Mourinho was responsible for United handing Fellaini a new two-year deal, with an option to another 12 months, last summer but now he is heading for the Old Trafford exit.

While the transfer window for clubs around Europe shuts on Thursday, teams from China still have four weeks to complete their recruitment.

The Chinese have sent a delegation to United to meet with vice chairman Ed Woodward to thrash out a deal for Fellaini.

The 31-year-old has spent the last five-and-a-half years at United but has never really fit in at Old Trafford.

Fellaini has managed just 31 minutes of playing time under Solskjaer and may have already played his final game for the club.
