Real Madrid have been offered the chance to sign Sporting star Bruno Fernandes, claims AS.
Fernandes was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United and Tottenham this summer but neither got a deal over the line for the midfielder.
Sporting are willing to sell Fernandes but have made it clear they will not accept any bids below €70m (£63.9m).
Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane is desperate to bring in fresh blood in midfield but has so far failed to land top target Paul Pogba.
Manchester United have refused to entertain any talks for the France international despite the fact Pogba has expressed a desire to leave.
The LaLiga giants have also been linked with a move for Tottenham’s Christian Eriksen and now have the chance to sign Fernandes from Sporting.
It appears unlikely Madrid will make a move for the 24-year-old, as they are currently prioritising a deal for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar.
Fernandes has played a direct hand in 35 goals in 35 league matches since the beginning of last season (21 goals, 14 assists).
