West Ham will step up their interest in Arsenal outcast Lucas Perez at the end of the season, reports The Daily Mirror.
Perez joined Arsenal in a £17m deal from Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna at the start of the season but has failed to convince manager Arsene Wenger he is worthy of a regular run out in the team.
The versatile Spaniard has impressed when called upon but has grown frustrated by his lack of first-team opportunities and now West Ham are looking to offer the versatile forward with a way out of the club in the summer.
The 28-year-old has only started two Premier League games this season and has been forced to make a further nine appearances from the substitute bench. However, in 136 minutes of action in the Champions League this season he did manage to play a direct hand in five goals.
