Burnley are closing in on the loan signing of Tottenham youngster Alex Pritchard, reports Sky Sports.
The former England U-21 international had been expected to break into the Spurs team following his return from Brentford, but injury has limited his impact.
Pritchard may be closing in on a return to fitness, but the north London side are willing to allow him a short-term move away from White Hart Lane in order to gain game time.
Burnley are favourites to secure the 22-year-old, though Swansea, Norwich and Middlesbrough have shown an interest in the midfielder.
The deal for Pritchard, who signed a long-term deal at Tottenham earlier this season, is expected to go through before Monday's deadline.
