Sevilla are planning contract talks with Steven N’Zonzi amid reported interest from Everton, reports The Daily Mail.
Everton have reportedly earmarked N’Zonzi as the ideal player to bring power to Ronald Koeman’s midfield after missing out on Moussa Sissoko and Alex Witsel in the summer.
Leicester failed in their attempts to sign the Sevilla midfielder after refusing to match his £26m buyout clause and the La Liga side and now looking to extend his current deal, which has three years left to run.
Of players to have made at least three starts for Sevilla in La Liga this season only Samir Nasri (91.9%) has a higher pass success rate than N’Zonzi (89.1%).
