Tony Pulis faces a defining period at West Brom and could even be sacked depending on their result against Chelsea after the international break, reports The Daily Telegraph.
The Baggies haven’t won a competitive game since August and the pressure is mounting on Pulis as the club continues to slide towards the foot of the Premier League table.
West Brom are only one point above the bottom three and the board are now considering Pulis’ future in the wake of Everton, Leicester and West Ham’s decision to change managers.
Pulis has helped stabilise the club as a mid-table Premier League side and the board want to see the 59-year-old turn things around, but there is a growing concern about results.
The former Stoke manager will have the international break to work on things in training but things don’t get any easier for the Baggies with games against Chelsea and Tottenham to come in their next two matches.
A heavy defeat at home to defending Premier League champions Chelsea on November 18 could force West Brom to sack Pulis, who has been manager at the Hawthorns since January 2015.
In 120 matches in charge of West Brom, Pulis has a win ratio of 32%. Moreover, only three teams in Europe’s top five leagues are on a current longer winless streak than West Brom (9).
