Swansea are interested in taking Spurs outcast Andros Townsend on loan when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the South Wales Evening Post.
Townsend, 24, was linked with a move to Aston Villa over the summer having fallen significantly down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino at White Hart Lane.
The England international, who came through the youth ranks at Spurs, is likely to be open to the temporary switch with one eye on the Euros next summer.
Townsend has only featured in 64 minutes of possible 900 this season for Spurs having been restricted to just three substitute appearances.
