Crystal Palace are in talks to sign Belgium international Yannick Carrasco on loan from Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang, reports Sky Sports.
Carrasco is desperate to secure a move away from China in the last week of the January transfer window to bolster his chances of playing at Euro 2020.
The former Atletico Madrid winger has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League and now Palace are trying to secure his services on a six-month deal.
The 26-year-old is currently training on his own in his native Belgium, as he awaits the greenlight to join a club in Europe.
Palace are currently the frontrunners for his signature but are not overly optimistic on a deal due to the difficulties of negotiating with Yifang.
Carrasco played a direct hand in 24 goals in 25 appearances in the Chinese Super League last season (17 goals, seven goals).
The Belgian won the WhoScored Man of the Match award six times in that spell and finished the campaign as the fourth highest WhoScored rated player (20+ appearances) in the division (7.79).
