Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has ordered Bastian Schweinsteiger to train with the club’s reserves until he finds himself a new club, reports The Daily Mail.
Schweinsteiger, who turned 32 on Monday, has no intention of leaving Old Trafford this summer after just 12 months at the club despite not featuring in Mourinho’s plans.
The former Germany international has now been forced to clear out his locker in the first-team dressing room and train with the under age squad for the foreseeable future.
United won more than half of the league games they played without Schweinsteiger in the starting XI (56%) compared to just 38.5% of matches with the former Bayern Munich midfielder in the team from the start.

" United won more than half of the league games they played without Schweinsteiger in the starting XI (56%) compared to just 38.5% of matches with the former Bayern Munich midfielder in the team from the start... " Yes, and they lost 4 times as many games with Schweinsteiger NOT in the lineup. It's obvious that Bastian had to struggle because of severe injuries but that treatment of Mourinho is just utterly disgraceful ! He didn't even give him the chance to train with the rest of the squad and was send to the youth team. It's ok if Mou doesn't plan with him anymore but to tell him to empty his locker to move out of the teams dressingroom immediately shows little class.
