Inter turn attention to Manchester City full-back

Inter boss Antonio Conte is plotting yet another Premier League raid as he eyes up a move for Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker, reports the Sun on Sunday.

Conte has used no fewer than five players at right wing-back in his favoured three-man defensive setup for Inter in Serie A this season, with Antonio Candreva his most used player in the role.

However, the Italian is looking at securing the England international's services this summer with the hope of a fresh start could tempt Walker to leave the Etihad Stadium.

Walker has landed himself in hot water recently as he breached Coronavirus lockdown rules four times since late March.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola isn't looking to cash in on the 30-year-old this summer and is instead more inclined to sell Joao Cancelo, who has struggled since his arrival.

Indeed, City are under no pressure to sell Walker, who is contracted to the club until 2024 and is still first choice right-back for Guardiola's side.

That said, City are in the market for a new right-back, with Nelson Semedo linked with a move to the Etihad Stadium.

Walker played the full 90 minutes of City's 3-0 win over Arsenal on Wednesday night and he is expected to start against Burnley on Monday.
