Lyon open to offers for former Manchester United flop Depay
Lyon are looking to cash in on Memphis Depay this summer while his stock is high, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Depay has spent the last two-and-a-half years at Lyon after being sold by Manchester United in a deal worth up to £21m.
The Netherlands international has been an overall success for Lyon but there is a feeling his goals and assists mask some shortcomings in his performances.
Depay has been linked with a move to Liverpool, as Jurgen Klopp looks to bolster his offensive options for next season, while United also have a buy-back option.
United have no interest in re-signing their former No.7 but Lyon are willing to listen to offers for the 25-year-old.
The Lyon No.11 has emerged as a key player for the Netherlands international, showing his versatility to play as a central striker.
Depay has played a direct hand in 51 league goals in his two full seasons at Lyon, though he will finish this season (currently 19) with fewer goal involvements than 2017/18 (32).
