Thierry Henry’s stint as Monaco manager is set to end after just three months in charge, claims The Daily Mirror.
Monaco crashed out of the Coupe de France to second-tier Metz in midweek, made worse for Henry given their opponents fielded a largely second-string team.
Henry has only won four of his 19 matches in charge of Monaco and the Principality club are set to wield the axe in the next 48 hours and end his nightmare.
Monaco are second from bottom in Ligue 1 and three points from safety and it has even been suggested that Leonardo Jardim, who Henry replaced in October, could return to the club.
Monaco are away to Dijon in the league this weekend and their opponents currently occupy the relegation play-off spot.
Only bottom-side Guingamp (45) have conceded more goals than Monaco in Ligue 1 this season (36), while the Principality club have only scored more than once in a game on two occasions under Henry.
Jardim has been out of work since being sacked as Monaco manager but has been heavily linked with a number of top jobs in Europe and China since then.
