Arsenal have been told they will need to pay an astronomical £50m to sign Valencia centre back Shkodran Mustafi, according to The Daily Mirror.
Mustafi has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this summer as Arsene Wenger looks to sign a new defender before the transfer window closes in just over a week’s time.
Arsenal were reportedly baulking on paying £30m for the 24-year-old a few weeks ago and now they have reportedly been told to nearly double that amount if they want to sign the Germany international.
Since August 2014 no player has made more interceptions in La Liga than Mustafi (226).
