Diego Costa has been named in the Chelsea starting XI for their evening encounter with Swansea.
The Spain international missed the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal last weekend with a hamstring problem and it had been touch and go as to whether he would feature in the Blues’ first game of the season.
However, after coming through training unscathed on Friday, Chelsea have confirmed that Costa will start against the Swans as the Premier League champions kick off their title defence on home turf.
