Pogba’s camp put brakes on Manchester United contract talks

Paul Pogba’s camp have ended contract talks with Manchester United and are determined to join Real Madrid this summer, claims The Sun.

The 2018 World Cup winner has emerged as a top transfer target for Madrid and Pogba has reportedly even told teammates he wants out of United at the end of the season.

Pogba does not believe United are moving in the right direction and is keen to jump ship for the second time in his career.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is adamant the 26-year-old will not be sold at the end of the season but the Norwegian is also partly why Pogba wants to go.

Pogba is not convinced Solskjaer is the man to take United forward and Madrid are growing increasingly confident of pulling off a €150m (£129.5m) deal.

United were willing to reward Pogba with a blockbuster new contract and even make him club captain but that isn’t enough for the France international.

Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has even ended contract talks with the Red Devils and there appears little chance of United convincing their star man to stick around.

Pogba has remarkably played a direct hand in 22 league goals this season and they have earned United an additional 22 points.

In fact, only Eden Hazard’s goals and assists have earned his team more points (23) than Pogba in the Premier League this season.
