Wolves are preparing a stunning move for Jack Wilshere in the summer if he decides to leave Arsenal, reports The Daily Mail.
Nuno’s side secured promotion to the Premier League last weekend and are already planning their summer transfer activity.
Besiktas attacker Anderson Talisca has already been linked with a move to Wolves and now the Championship side are plotting an audacious swoop for Wilshere.
The England international will be a free agent at the end of the season when his current Arsenal deal expires, although the Gunners have offered him new terms.
Arsenal want Wilshere to take a pay-cut on his current deal and there is now a stand-off between player and club, with Wolves waiting in the wings.
Wolves are not the only club interested in signing the 26-year-old but their interest illustrates their ambition for next season.
Wilshere appears to have put his injury woes behind him this season, making 30 appearances across league and European competition.
Arsenal actually have a significantly better win ratio in the Premier League without Wilshere in the starting XI (54.5%) compared to when he has featured from the off (36.4%).
Can't wait to see Wolves in the PL. I know the links with Jorge Mendes are shady but I love that a club like Wolves are capable of signing players like Ruben Neves, possible Anderson Talisca and Wilshere next season
