Inter are interested in signing Daniel Sturridge on loan for the remainder of the season despite Liverpool’s £30m valuation, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
Sturridge is desperate to leave Liverpool this month in order to salvage any hope of making the 2018 World Cup but fears being priced out of a move by Jurgen Klopp’s side.
The Reds have reportedly slapped a £30m price tag on Sturridge’s head and it’s hard to imagine any side willing to pay that much for a fringe player who struggles to stay fit for prolonged periods.
Inter are exploring whether there is any chance they could take Sturridge on loan in January as Luciano Spalletti’s side look to ease the pressure on main man Mauro Icardi.
The 28-year-old is not a priority signing for the Serie A giants but they are sounding out other transfer targets as they wait to hear whether they’ve been successful in signing Rafinha from Barcelona.
Sturridge has only started five Premier League matches this season but has netted twice and provided one assist this term.
