Manchester United have sent scouts to Turin to watch Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot several times this season, reports TuttoMercatoWeb.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move to United in the past and when it became clear he would be leaving PSG last summer, the Premier League side were among those who considered a move for Rabiot.
However, they lost out to Juventus for the 25-year-old, but Rabiot's fortunes haven't improved since his transfer to Italy.
Indeed, he has made just 11 league starts for the defending league champions and it has raised question over his long-term future for the Old Lady.
Rabiot is still highly thought of across the continent and a number of top sides would gladly take a punt on the former PSG man, with United once more keeping tabs on the central midfielder.
United are expected to invest in midfield this summer, particularly as speculation continues to mount over compatriot Paul Pogba's future in England.
Juventus have been linked with a move for Pogba and could offer Rabiot as part of a deal that would see the former return to Turin.
