West Ham are interested in making a summer swoop for Arsenal outcast Lucas Perez in the summer, according to The Times.
Perez only joined Arsenal at the start of the summer in a deal worth £18m from Spanish side Deportivo La Corunna but the Spaniard has failed to make any impression on Arsene Wenger.
The 28-year-old was heavily linked with a January move away from the club and is widely expected to leave Arsenal this summer unless his involvement changes dramatically.
Despite failing to earn a regular starting spot for Arsenal, Perez has impressed when given the chance and he would be a great capture for the Hammers, with Slaven Bilic keen to bolster his strike force this summer.
Perez has only started two games in in the Premier League this season, but reserved his best form, when given the chance, in the Champions League. In fact, in just 136 minutes of action in Europe, Perez scored or assisted five goals.
