Leicester have offered N’Golo Kante a new contract worth £100,000-a-week, reports the Daily Mail.
Interest in the France international is understandably high given his fine form for the Foxes in their title win last season, with Leicester hoping to keep hold of the 25-year-old this summer.
However, Kante has his heart set on a move to Chelsea, with a switch supposedly close to completion as the Blues step up there quest to improve the squad.
Shanghai SIPG, Real Madrid and PSG were all linked with a move for the tough tackling Frenchman, but Kante is looking to work under recently appointed manager Antonio Conte.
Should Chelsea conclude a deal for Kante, he will become the club’s second signing this summer following the arrival of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille.
