RB Leipzig are targeting another raid of Championship giants Nottingham Forest after bidding £6m for teenage midfielder Matty Cash, reports The Guardian.
The Bundesliga side have made a stunning start to their first season in the German top-flight and are looking to hoover up more British talent this month.
Ralf Hasenhuttl’s side paid £13m to sign Oliver Burke from Forest in August and now they are lining up his former teammate Cash.
The 19-year-old has only made 24 football league appearances during his short career and half of those were made in League 2 during a loan spell with Dagenham & Redbridge.
Cash has started in 10 matches for Championship outfit Forest this season and has shown an ability to not only play in central midfield but also at right-back. He averages 2 tackles and 1 interception per game, while also averages 1.4 shots per game.
