Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has dismissed talk of a move to Paris Saint-Germain amid speculation the Ligue 1 champions want to sign the England international.
Lallana has been a revelation for Liverpool this season under Jurgen Klopp after underwhelming during the first 18 months of his time at Anfield following a £25m swap from Southampton in 2014.
The 28-year-old has established himself as a vital part of Klopp’s system at Liverpool and his performances have reportedly caught the eye of PSG manager Unai Emery.
However, the underfire PSG boss will have to look at alternative targets after Lallana revealed he has no intentions of leaving Liverpool, with three years still remaining on his existing deal.
“It is a great compliment to be spoken of in the same breath as a club like PSG with those sort of numbers,” Lallana told Sky Sports. “I am absolutely loving my football at the minute under this boss and I can only see myself being here for the long-term.”
Lallana’s work rate has never been in question, but the England ace is finally adding to his game in the final third. In fact, he has almost weighed in with as many goals this season (8) than he managed in the whole of last season (10).
Only Kevin de Bruyne (7) and Nemanja Matic (6) have registered more assists in the Premier League this season than Lallana (5).
