Paul Pogba has opened the door to leaving Manchester United after admitting it would be a 'dream' to play for Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old has made no secret of his desire to play for Madrid in the past but talk of him leaving United had gone quiet for the past 12 months.
The coronavirus outbreak ruined any chance of Pogba leaving United this summer and there were suggestions he could even sign a new deal with the club.
However, Pogba has used the international break to rekindle talk of his United exit just days after his shambolic display in their 6-1 home defeat to Tottenham.
"No-one has told me anything," Sky Sports quote Pogba as saying at a press conference with the France national team when asked about a contract renewl with United. "I have not spoken to [United executive vice-chairman] Ed Woodward. We haven't spoken about a new deal.
"At the moment, I am in Manchester and I am concentrating about getting back to my best form. I think there will be a moment when the club will come and talk to me and maybe offer me something, or not.
"All football players would love to play for Real Marid. It is a dream for me, why not one day?" He continued when asked about the prospect of moving to Madrid.
"I am in Manchester and I love my club. I am playing in Manchester, I'm having fun and I want to do everything to put the club where it deserves. I will give everything to the max, like my team-mates."
Pogba was limited to just 13 starts in the Premier League last season because of injury and only managed to make that many because of lockdown.
The Frenchman has made a dreadful start to the new season and was one of United's worst performers against Tottenham, conceding a penalty in their heavy defeat.
Pogba is yet to score or assist and has a WhoScored rating of just 6.36 after three Premier League appearances. In fact, Pogba not even registered a key pass in 222 minutes of playing time.
Lol why would Real want him? He's extremely lazy and arrogant. Had 2 good very good seasons in his like what, 6 year career?
