Manchester United defender Luke Shaw is targeting a return to first-team training next month and has not given up hope of boarding the plane to the Euros in France in the summer, according to The Daily Telegraph.
Shaw, 20, has been out of action since September with a broken leg and wasn’t expected to feature for United until the start of next season.
However, the talented left-back is set to return to training in April and could appear for United before the end of the season, with a view to forcing his way into Roy Hodgson’s squad for the Euros.
After a troubled first season at Old Trafford, Shaw had started this season in fantastic form before a double fracture curtailed his campaign. In fact, no United player to have made five league appearances has gained a higher WhoScored rating than Shaw this season (7.36).
