Watford on verge of signing Brazilian starlet

Watford are on course to sign Fluminense starlet Richarlison after agreeing a £13m deal with the Brazilian outfit, reports Sky Sports.

The 20-year-old is currently in England and will undergo his medical with Watford after agreeing terms to a five-year contract with Marco Silva’s side.

Richarlison, who has been capped at U20 level for Brazil, is the second youngster to swap Brazil for the Premier League this summer after Manchester City signed Douglas Luiz from Vasco De Gama last month.

Watford have already made several signings this summer but the Brazilian will go down as the most expensive. Richarlison can play on both wings but has mainly been used on the left by Fluminense this season.

Richarlison has scored more goals (5) than any other player aged under 21 in the Brasileirao this season, while he has also won the most penalties (4).
