Jürgen Klopp’s first signing since being appointed Liverpool manager could be Italian youngster Domenico Berardi, reports the Daily Star.
The German was drafted in as Brendan Rodgers’ successor at Anfield after the Northern Irishman was relieved of his duties last weekend.
Supporters are understandably excited about Klopp’s arrival and his first move once the transfer re-opens in January could be for Berardi.
The 21-year-old is no longer co-owned by Sassuolo and Juventus, meaning Liverpool would have to deal directly with the former.
However, Juventus inserted a buyback clause in Berardi’s contract when they sold him to Sassuolo that could see him return to Turin next summer.
Klopp is believed to be a huge fan of the Italian’s having tried to sign him for Borussia Dortmund, only to fail in his pursuit.
The Liverpool boss could renew his interest in Berardi in the New Year as he looks to mould his new team in his image.

Pace player. I could see him as replacement for Sterling since Sterling want to transfer out.
@koziol.mutant yes but he has failed to impress this season
