Italy international perfectly suited for Inter, says agent

Lazio winger Antonio Candreva would be the ‘perfect’ fit for Inter, according to his agent.

The 28-year-old still has four years left to run on his current deal with Lazio but has been linked with a move away from the club since the start of the season.

While Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello says his client remains happy at the club, he admits to already having one eye on the summer where a big move could be in the offing.

“Every year we receive two or three important offers,” Candreva’s agent said on Radio Sei. [Lazio president] Lotito returns them to sender with the OK of the player, who wants to stay.

“However, I don’t know what will happen in six months. If new offers come in, we’ll talk to the president, because players live in a month, which cant be forever.

“Even [Alessandro] Del Piero left Juventus, and I don’t know if Lazio will hold on to Candreva in the summer. Inter? You’d have to ask the coach [Roberto Mancini], but given the way Inter play I think he’d be perfect.”

Since the start of the season Candreva has had at least 18 more shots on goal than any other player for Lazio in the league, despite not featuring in four of their league games this season.
