Kevin Mirallas admits he will force a move out of Everton if he fails to get more first-team action before the transfer window reopens in January.
Mirallas, 28, has been restricted to just one Premier League start this season because of injury and suspension, as well as the emergence of Arouna Kone and Gerard Deulofeu.
The Belgium international only signed a new three-year deal in August, but admits he could be forced to find first-team football elsewhere, particularly with the Euro’s around the corner.
“It’s not easy to live such a situation but it happens like that in the world of football,” Mirallas is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
“I don’t think in terms of my place in the national team. But in January, if my situation has not changed, I will ask questions and perhaps consider a departure.”
Since joining Everton in 2012, only Romelu Lukaku (26) has had more shots on target than Mirallas from outside the box in the Premier League (24).
