Everton manager Ronald Koeman is already making his summer transfer plans and has earmarked a potential move for Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose, reports The Daily Mail.
The 25-year-old is only 12 months into the five-year deal he agreed when he joined Sociedad last summer but he has impressed for his new club and Everton’s director of football, Steve Walsh, has already been in contact with the Spanish club.
Koeman is interested in signing Jose regardless of whether Everton can keep hold of star striker Romelu Lukaku this summer as he seeks to close the gap on the sides above them in the Premier League table.
Jose has scored more goals than any other player for Sociedad in La Liga this season (10), having netted nine times for Las Palmas last season despite not being a regular at the club.
