Jose Mourinho will cut Juan Mata and Marouane Fellaini from the team if he is made Manchester United manager, according to The Daily Mail.
Reports have emerged suggesting Mourinho has agreed to replace Louis van Gaal at the end of the season and the former Chelsea boss has already begun planning for next season.
This would mark the second time Mourinho has forced Mata out the team after forcing his Chelsea exit to United in January 2014.
Despite failing to warm completely to the United fans, only Wayne Rooney (37) has played a direct hand in more league goals than Mata of all United players since his switch to Old Trafford (30) and no player has created more chances than the Spaniard (86).
