Chelsea legend willing to play for another Premier League side

Chelsea captain John Terry has no desire to hang up his boots at the end of the season and would be open to joining another Premier League side in the summer, reports The Times.

Terry, 36, is out of contract in the summer and has dropped down the pecking order under Antonio Conte this season with a new deal unlikely to be offered to the Chelsea skipper.

The former England international had offers from Stoke, Bournemouth and West Brom in the January transfer window but had no interest in playing for any other club at the time.

However, Terry is believed to have changed his mind in recent weeks after being offered no assurances by Chelsea that a new deal will be handed to their longest serving player currently at the club.

Terry has only started four games in the Premier League this season, although Chelsea are unbeaten in each of those matches. Since August 2009, no defender has scored more goals in the Premier League than Terry (23).
