Premier League table toppers target Europe's highest rated teen

Leicester City have made Rennes' teenage star Ousmane Dembele their top summer target, according to the Sunday Times.

The Foxes are currently seven points clear of second placed Tottenham in England's top tier as they continue their surprise pursuit of the Premier League.

Dembele has established himself as one of the hottest talents in Europe with his WhoScored rating (7.81) better than any other teenger on the continent.

His form for Rennes has seen a number of the top teams in Europe show a liking in the youngster, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid among those interested.

Leicester, though, will hope to convince the attacker his future lies at the King Power Stadium and are prepared to meet Dembele's reported £16m price tag.

12 goals and a further five assists has helped the 18-year-old rise to the fore, with Dembele also averaging more successful dribbles (4.3) than any other player in Europe's top five leagues this season.
