Jordan Amavi has claimed that he has been placed on the transfer list by Aston Villa, The Birmingham Mail report.
In an interview with French Daily Nice-Matin the France youth international stated: "I have ambitions. I want to play in Europe, for a club that play in all the competitions.
"I've been placed on the transfer list."
The news comes as a boost to a number of reported parties that have shown an interest in the left-back, including the likes of Sampdoria, Marseille, Monaco, Atletico Madrid and Napoli.
The 23-year-old, who joined Villa for a fee in the region of £9m two years ago, has confirmed that a move to a Premier League team would be his preference - with Liverpool linked in the past - but that he is open to all offers.
"I love the Premier League, it is the league that I like enough, but I am open to other countries.
"If the sporting challenge is interesting, I will go ahead, I won't think twice."
Amavi featured 34 times in the Championship last season in a variety of roles on the left flank but hasn’t been able to capture the form that saw him become an instant hit at Villa Park prior to a serious knee injury.
