Chelsea are set to sign Rennes right-back Guela Doue, before sending him on loan to Strasbourg, reports Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Blues are set to pay a transfer fee of €9 million for the 21-year-old, which includes €2 million in add-ons.
Guela, the older brother of PSG and Bayern Munich target Desire - also of Rennes, looks set to become the latest player to move on loan from Chelsea to sister club Strasbourg.
20-year-old Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos spent the second half of last season with the French side, while the Blues are also set to send left-back Caleb Wiley, who has just arrived from Atlanta United, to the east of France.
Guela Doue made 24 league appearances for Rennes last term, stepping up in the absence of Burnley loanee Lorenz Assignon to become a solid performer.
